To Inspire

A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.

Henry Brooks Adams

As at 1 July 2011 there were 6,517 home schooled students recorded on the Ministry of Education’s homeschooling database, which represents less than one per cent of total school enrolments. These students belonged to 3,532 families.

Gisborne, Otago  and Hawkes Bay had the lowest proportions of homeschoolers in relation to their total school populations
